Essential Oils to Ease Aches & Pains

The massage process of releasing tense muscles can be assisted and deepened by the use of essential oils. Some of the oils I enjoy working with include peppermint, marjoram, black pepper, rosemary and ginger. These can be used or their own or blended together to create new aromas. You can either blend 3 or 2 essential oils together. My favourite blends at the moment are ginger, rosemary and black pepper or peppermint and rosemary, both of which are quite fragrant mixes. Or if keeping it more simple, I enjoy working with a marjoram and black pepper blend.


These oils can also be blended with other oils that are more useful for evoking relaxation. Examples of this include blends such as ginger and frankincense or black pepper and fennel. So we can devise a mix which works both physically and emotionally.
